SDNY
COURTHOUSE,
Nov 18 – A man detained by ICE
at a bus stop in Brooklyn has
filed a habeas petition in the
U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of New York,
where Inner City Press found
it.
The
petition says Mr. Garcia
Dolores lives in Bushwick and
has resided in the US for over
a decade.
Given the
lack of an individualize
determination, it asks for
release. It asks for an order
that the US Attorney's Office
show cause in three days when
the petition should not be
granted and a hearing in five
days.
The case has yet
to be assigned out to a
District Judge.
It is
Garcia Dolores v. Francis, et
al., 1:25-cv-9601 (Unassigned)
