Habeas Corpus Petition in SDNY

COURTHOUSE,
July 18 – A man from
Uzbekistan who was detained by
ICE filed a habeas corpus
petition in the U.S. District
Court for the Southern
District of New York, where
Inner City Press found
it.
The
petition says he suffers from
Hepatitis B which has worsened
in detention. "
Part 1
Judge Ronnie Abrams issued a
stay of removal. "He fears
transfer will further
compromise his access to
medical care."
Part

of removal, and that he should
remain in SDNY, EDNY or the
District of New Jersey.
