– Amid reports of investigation
against Sen. Robert Menendez for
taking gold bars, Inner City
Press' sources on September 21,
2023 it to expect on Friday,
September 22 an appearance in
Federal court in Manhattan by
Menendez and his wife Nadine
Arslanian. This

On July 16, 2024
just after noon, the verdicts:

Judge Stein: I
have chosen for sentencing
October 29 - 2 pm for Mr.
Hana, 2:45 for Mr. Daibes and
3:30 pm for Mr.
Menendez.
After 11 pm on
August 19 Menendez lawyer
filed a motion for
acquittal or for a new trial,

On August 22 the
US Attorney Office filed a
redacted letter that it is not
possible to set a trial date
for Nadine Menendez, asking
for a conference in December -

On September 10,
delay requested on Uribe "in
light of the current status of
related proceedings and the
anticipated timeline of their
resolution." His was delayed
until April 24, 2025.
On September 23,
Menendez et al. got delay:
"ORDERED that: 1. The
sentencing submission of each
defendant is due on or before
January 2, 2025; 2. The
government's sentencing
submission for each defendant
is due on or before January 9,
2025; 3. The sentencing of
Fred Daibes is adjourned to
January 29, 2025, at 9:30
a.m., the sentencing of Wael
Hana is adjourned to January
29, 2025, at 11 :00 a.m., and
the sentencing of Robert
Menendez is adjourned to
January 29, 2025, at 2:00
p.m."
