UN
GATE,
Dec 29 – How corrupt is
today's UN, including its UN
Office of Drugs and Crime but
especially UNSG Antonio
Guterres and his spokesperson
Stephane Dujarric?
Well, on the
morning of Sunday, December 27
Inner City Press received as
it does information from UN
whistleblowers, this time
about UNODC in
Uzbekistan.
Inner City
Press presented the
information by email to the
spokesperson for UNODC's
office there, Vasilina
Brazhko, to the subject of the
information and story - and to
Stephane Dujarric, who said on camera
that he would answer Inner
City Press' emailed questions,
after with Guterres and
Melissa Fleming having it
thrown out for its
investigative reporting on
Guterres, including his links
to Ghislaine Maxwell and
convicted briber CEFC China
Energy.
Inner City Press
waited. No response as all,
including from Dujarric. These
people are taking public money
as spokespeople for a public
institution. It is their job
to confirm or deny information
that UN staff send out to the
press.
Still,
Inner City Press waited.
Before noon on Monday,
December 29 it emailed this
question and more then 30
including on the strike(s) on
Nigeria to Dujarric (again),
and Farhan Haq and among
others these: Melissa
Fleming, Amina J.
Mohammed, Florencia Soto
Nino-Martinez and two
mission. Here is the
question they were asked,
without response:
"This is a Press
request on deadline for
comment (at a minimum,
confirmation or denial) on the
below, received by Inner City
Press: "Merry Christmas
Matthew -your support means
the world to us. Thank you...
Batyr Geldiyev preached purity
from his perch at the United
Nations Office on Drugs and
Crime (UNODC)... the facade
cracked in a dramatic midnight
raid on his upscale Tashkent
villa. Uzbek anti-narcotics
agents, tipped off by
suspicious financial trails
linking him to Afghan
suppliers, stormed in to find
kilos of premium heroin
stashed in his car.'
Confirm or deny, on immediate
deadline; comment if you
choose. On
deadline, Inner City
Press."
Nothing,
nothing at all. Watch this
