UN GATE,
Oct 9 – How corrupt and
decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.
From OHCHR
staff: "under director of
Operations Maarit Kohonen,
Turk’s OHCHR plans to take 15
million earmarked to field
activities to fund positions
in Geneva and other like
salary to Maarit Kohonen’s
husband ( promoted from
P1 to P4 by his spouse), Kim
Taylor’s boyfriend ((hired by
her) or promoting Volker
Turk’s personal acquaintance
lazy and absent Mathias
Behnke. Member states,
especially EU, should
carefully audit corrupt OHCHR
accounts as they are
accountable to their tax
payers. Volker Turk must
resign with all his senior
management.."
Previously:
Turk insists on relocating 120
staff members (and their
families) from Geneva. In the
meantime half of the staff in
Colombia has been fired due to
bad planning. But no one is
accountable.All young people
in OHCHR has been or will be
fired in 2025. But Volker Turk
tweets about the value of
young people with Hypocrisy.
Staff will be relocated to
Vienna only to be fired.
All cuts
are at P2 and P3 level.Turk is
only concerned about himself
and he has perpetuated a
system of nepotism with his
cronies Maarit Kohonen,
Veronica Berga, Mathias
Behnke, Francesco Motta,
Michael Camilleri and Kim
Taylor. Volker Turk must
resign and take all his senior
staff with him.
Inner City Press
re-applied to re-enter the UN
on June 19, 2025 - no answer
at all from Melissa Fleming,
Tel Mekel, Stephane Dujarric.
Today's UN is corrupt.
