UN
GATE,
Nov 28 – How corrupt is
today's United Nations?
Well, on November
28 when SG Antonio Guterres
held a staged four-questions
presser with Moussa Faki
Mahamat, Chairperson of the
African Union Commission,
there was not even any mention
of Nigeria, nor of the
slaughter of the Anglophones
by Cameroon.
Inner City
Press, which until it was
thrown out by Guterres asked
about those and more, was not
allowed in, and Spokesman
Stephane Dujarric refused its
written questions.
Instead,
the UN Correspondents
Association was gifted the
first question and asked not
even about Africa. Another
Dujarric crony asked about
African only in terms of
Ukraine.
To top it
off, a correspondent who did a
fundraiser with Ghislaine
Maxwell, part of Jeffrey
Epstein's Lolita Express
through Africa, was given a
question. That is today's UN -
and AU? A fish rots from the
head...
