In Corrupt UN WIPO Nyang'aya Covers Up For Tang Party like James Bond Whistleblowers Say

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

UN GATE, Sept 19  – How corrupt is the UN system under Antonio Guterres? Well, the day before Guterres was set amid Gaza, bombings and hostages to party down with Sharon Stone and the UN Correspondents Association at Casa Cipriani, WIPO in Geneva did the same.

The World Intellectual Property Organization under Director General Daren Tang threw a lavish party on December 14, 2023, Inner City Press far-flung whistleblowing sources say. As one UN staff member put it:

"Over at WIPO the Director General (Daren Tang) is throwing a lavish party for staff, complete with disco and gambling - with a theme of Casino Royale - see the attached notice sent to all WIPO staff - with a derogatory image of a woman in a slit skirt next to a man with a gun...

What do UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Executive Director of UN Women Sima Bahous have to say about this? Is this an appropriate use of UN resources?"

On December 18, a complaint was filed with Tang, citing Inner City Press' exclusive report: "Dear Director General Daren Tang, We write to you as WIPO whistleblowers.... See article in the media https://www.innercitypress.com/ungate1wipoicp121523.html"

On the morning of December 21, the whistleblowers have received no response from Tang, Inner City Press asked UN Spokesman Stephane Dujarric in writing, "on the WIPO "Casino Royale" party Inner City Press exclusively reported on, what are the comments and actions if any of SG Guterres, PGA Francis or Ecuador  on the whistleblowers' complaint." No answers.

Guterres has said nothing, refusing through his spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming to even answer if it is false that Stone is receiving a "UN" award from UNCA, apparently the UN Censorship Alliance while Inner City Press which reports extensively on the UN remains banned.

Since then, WIPO has gotten even worse. Now WIPO Whistleblowers have written to the chair of WIPO's General Assembly, Ambassador Alfredo Suescum of Panama, and the Regional Coordinators about Tang improperly telling Brazil of his investigation of a whistleblower-supporter (name redacted) - and engaging in anti-Semitism about a longtime whistleblower. Also, covering up Omar Katbi's forged degree certificate.

Now the whistleblowers have written to the General Assembly (Ambassador Alfredo Suescum of Panama) and to the Regional Coordinators (of the regional groups) that WIPO's Director IOD Julie Nyang'aya has improperly covered up for Tang.

The whistleblowers have filed a complaint against Nyang'aya. But what will be done?
