COURTHOUSE,
April 13 – How corrupt is
today's UN? Its staff in
places like Somalia write in
to Secretary General Antonio
Guterres and his officials
about misdeeds in their
Missions, and nothing happens.
Then they write to Inner City
Press, which Guterres and
Melissa Fleming have banned
from entering the UN to ask
questions. Spokesperson
Stephane Dujarric refuses to
answer written questions, so
we publish:
"We are writing
to report the daily frauds and
misuse of power of Ms. Qurat
Ul Ain Sadozai, newly
appointed Director of UNSOS
and UNSOM D2 in Somalia,
following a short transition
period as D1, Chief Supply
Chain Management, in the same
mission, UNSOS, without any
certification, professional
competence and minimum
knowledge on the subject...
In the new
position as Director she is
totally useless and continues
her practice with the Somali
Institutions. Her arrogant and
abusive behavior is so blatant
and obvious that she has been
proud to deny Staff to attend
mosque prayer on Fridays and
others in Nairobi to go to
Church on Sunday, calling them
into meetings and bullying
them. She is such a good
Muslim that she used to go and
drink at his place. She used
Ugandan Colleague Juliet
Kabuleeta who falsely reported
against Mr. Harjit for sexual
harassment. In exchange, Ms.
Kabuleeta was sent on
assignment to Mali and
from there was promoted as
Chief Rations Officer back in
UNSOS... Particularly now when
she has to deal with the"
Italian job"…
Her protegees who
have been helping her with the
supply chain activities: Mr.
Favio Mevoli is on the way to
be D1, Chief Supply Chain
Management, former post of Ms.
Qurat and to comply with the
well-established tradition
that D1 are allowed to recruit
their wives or mistresses, the
same as done by Mr. Mevoli
with his wife Letitia Carriero
Property Management FS6.
Obviously, there is no
conflict of interest... this
is the style of Ms.
Qurat. Very shady.
It has been
a long time that she has been
acting like this and nobody
seems to care about the fact
that her husband is the Chief
of Intelligence in the
Pakistan Army. Normally,
it is a matter that should
have been carefully evaluated
in the UN but instead
not. Most probably
because he is old
and not so effective as an
Intelligence Officer
considering that his wife has
an intimate relationship with
Mr. Juan Palafox from Spain,
Chief Engineering, newly
promoted to D1 thanks to his
performance and integration as
she started using gowns and
this should be rewarded.
Previously
Ms. Qurat entered into the UN
thanks to a Somali
Representative in NY to whom
she had a relationship.
Qurat's father also has
connections with Somali
political parties and she
knows all government
people.
Thanks to her family insights,
she used to work with an NGO
and then she came through a
very strange kidnapping story.
We all think it was a staged
kidnapping and she was
photographed smiling. Very
strange….
Considering that our Mission
will close within a year, and
most of us will lose our jobs,
we are scared that instead Ms.
Qurat and her companions and
boyfriend will continue the
same abuses somewhere
else. We wonder if Mr.
Khare . Ms. Di Carlo and Mr.
Lacroix will take
actions as Somalia is another
UN Mission run by bad people
and
incompetent.
We will have more on this -
banned as we are from even
entering the UN - watch this
site.
