UN GATE,
Jan 12 – How corrupt is
today's UN under Antonio
Guterres? Today's follow up,
the first but certainly not
last, is yet once again on his
mission in Colombia, about
which his spokespeople
Stephane Dujarric and Melissa
Fleming refuse all Press
questions. Inner City Press
has asked them, and others,
about the newest sex abuse
case against the UN there. Now
this, from UN whistleblowers
through Inner City Press:
Dear Matthew Russell Lee, Trying to abolish the
post of a new mom is
despicable but not
surprising coming from
Brusola who head a smear
campaign on behalf of a
pedophile and is still
paying favors to those who
backed her up. The ongoing
investigation against Jaime
Muñoz, who backed Brusola at
the time, needed her help
and Yang's to cover his back
and remove the primary
witness against him.
Igor Kornienko forced
the national staff who,
dared to stand up and report
his wrongdoings, to move to
a post in the medical unit
that is now abolished.
He was moved to the medical
unit after being on and off
on sick leave for mental
health as a result of six
years of abuse and
harassment at the hands of
Muñoz.
But the monsters kept
pilling up, it was national
staff Paola Garcia who was
now in charge of harassing
the victim. OIOS has
multiple witnesses of her
going to different offices
and office floors chasing
after him and letting it be
known that she was her boss
now and he was under her
"control". How scary is it,
to know that not even in the
medical unit, one can be
safe inside a United Nations
building?
They have threatened him to
withhold his pension payment
and have refused his medical
certifications in order to
deduct even more money from
his last paycheck.
Whistleblowers are not safe
even in the medical office
in charge of the well being of
United Nations staff. "
On June 19, 2025 Inner
City Press
applied to USG Melissa
Fleming and Tal Mekel of
MALU to enter and cover
UNGA80.
More
than six months
later, with no
explanation
given, the UN
denied it,
saying to
write to the
"manager" if
there was an
error. Inner
City Press
wrote to
manager Tal Mekel
of MALU.
