On UN Lacroix UN Whistleblowers Tell Inner City Press Cuts Skip Cronies and Oct 15 Trip

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

UN GATE / Juba, Oct 14 – How corrupt is today's UN under Antonio Guterres? Consider South Sudan, where UN personnel stand accused of child rape on which UN spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming have refused all Press questions. On October 14 this, from a UN whistleblower sent to Inner City Press:

Dear Matthew Russell Lee,

Reference the decision made by UNMISS management (led by the Chief of Staff, Paster Leda) on which offices to close and which posts to cut, the process needs to be credible and should not leave the mission, Top-heavy. By making all these cuts and exempting the high ranks have a tendency to be scandalous.

Already, the optics are that the decision makers have been keen to save their jobs and that of their close associates as in the case of the Chief of Staff, Ms. Leda Limann, a list circulating around from her office and offices she oversees, confirms that all her close associates including her God son Mr. Kwame Akoto Danso (a married man) and his Lover Ms. Sintija Steinite posts will be saved. The rumors are that, Staff without God mothers and God fathers, just like Orphans, are left at the mercies of unfair treatments.

Mr. Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations, is scheduled to visit South Sudan and Abyei from 15 to 17 October 2025. A town hall meeting with staff is planned for 15 October 2025.

However, many staff members have expressed growing frustration with such high-level visits, describing them as symbolic exercises that offer little real impact.

Across the UN system, there is a clear sentiment of fatigue among personnel who feel they are working under managers who lack competence, vision, or even the medical and psychological fitness to lead effectively. See, Nicholas Haysom

Note: Lacroix is implicated in the banning of the Press and refusal to answer its questions - worse that Ladsous, by this time. France must lose UN Peacekeeping, on censorship ground alone.

Guterres, they say, should end censorship. Application was made on June 19, 2025, here. Still as of October 7 no answer at all from Melissa Fleming or Stephane Dujarric. Totally corrupt. Watch this site.
