decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.

Volker Turk continues touring Asia with
his entourage of spokesperson, cameraman and
favorite crony. Two weeks traveling business
class with full UN DSA (437$ in Ulaanbataar,
271$ in Seoul and….415$ per day in Tokyo!!),
is that efficient use of taxpayers money?
[Guterres took many of his cronies to Tokyo,
then took down his own read-out of this
meeting with the Emperor, while leaving his
2022 tweet up.]
What is the impact of his empty trips?
“Tourist” Turk’s toxic hypocrisy has no
limits. He continues bragging about meeting
young people in his trips. Oddly he has fired
all young and junior colleagues in OHCHR
(mainly female including sick and pregnant) to
preserve D2s, D1s, P5s and P4s for his
favorites. Interns, P2s and P3s have paid the
price of a crisis mismanaged by flamboyant
tourist Turk. AmbWaltz, EU should audit how
un-earmarked XB funds are wasted. What is the
result of his trips? Whitewashing like in
Mexico? Appeasement? Why is Volker Turk silent
with China and selective with his advocacy?
Because he wants a “quiet” extension of
his mandate at 300,000 $ per year. OHCHR
needs a new High Commissioner.

nothing from Mike Waltz.
Meanwhile both Big Tony and
Amina junketed on April 15 to
the IMF which Inner City Press
is accredited to cover, and at
which it asked questions - but
not of Tony, as UNCTAD denied

event." The UN is dying, or
being killed off.
