June 3 – How corrupt and
decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.

corruption in UN under Antonio
Guterres and his cronies like
Volker Turk
No one symbolizes hypocrisy better than
Volker Turk. He celebrates World
Bicycle Day exposing a young female staff.
Volker Turk has not cycled to work one single
day in four years as he leaves 250 meters away
from his office in Palais Wilson. He lies,
same as he lies about feminism or young
people. Volker Turk has dismissed most young
people in the office, mainly female (some with
medical condition and in need of insurance,
and even pregnant ones). When he was
informed he just saw “I didn’t know”.
As if he wasn’t ultimately responsible. He has
fired whistleblowers and turns a blind eye to
human rights violations by certain countries
(mainly but not only China) as he seeks a
quiet extension by his master Guterres. Volker
Turk has decimated OHCHR from young and
critical staff and preserved the privileges of
his cronies and favorites. Not one ASG,D2, D1
or P5 and few P4 affected by the budget cuts
in the last two years. Instead he has favored
his friends and favorites some whom should
have already retired.
He wastes tax-payers money traveling with
three persons entourage including a media
person and a cameraman and a favorite (at the
expense of those who do the work preparing his
useless missions). This is where the
un-earmarked funds go. Turk has opened a
pointless office in Vienna, in his home
country when the OHCHR is in a deep crisis and
placed a protege to lead it, but member states
tolerate a flagrant conflict of interest.
Volker Turk’s hypocrisy reaches his investment
in the pharmaceutical sector. Since
irrelevant and hypocrite Volker Turk has
nothing better to show for impact, we look
forward to his message on 19 November for
World Toilet Day

So far,
nothing from Mike Waltz.
Meanwhile both Big Tony and
Amina junketed on April 15 to
the IMF which Inner City Press
is accredited to cover, and at
which it asked questions - but
not of Tony, as UNCTAD denied
Inner City Press to its "side
event." The UN is dying, or
being killed off.
There's a new

on June 19, 2025 - no answer

for six months, then a denial
with no reason at all given.
Today's UN is corrupt.
