Libya UN Staff Complain to Guterres of His Corrupt Leaders from Lebanon and Egypt

by Matthew Russell Lee, Patreon Book Substack

UN GATE, March 3 – How corrupt has the UN become under Antonio Guterres? Today's example is again from the UNSMIL mission in Libya, sent to Inner City Press which Guterres and his Melissa Fleming ban from entering the UN to ask, while Spox Stephane Dujarric refuses written questions. Now we are asking about these letters to Guterres, leaked to us by a whistleblower:

Dear Matthew Russell Lee, This is the usual situation in UNSMIL for National Staff. If we protest for our rights, Internationals fire us but they don't do the same with corrupt Staff like our former CMS Huda, her boyfriend Louay and the rest of their gang. For them very long disciplinary actions despite proven evidence and promotions without any test or just fake job openings. OIOS and OHRM are doing nothing to them. The findings are always put in the trash. CDU in the Mission is even doing less because they have Lebanese friend and Senior protection  in UNSMIL. It is so absurd our situation that none of us believe in the UN anymore. You should know what is going on. Thanks a lot from us

The beginning, first of a series:

SG and SRSG,  This is the second time in UNSMIL that a National Staff  Union representative has been fired with pretexts because he wanted to improve our life as Libyans in UNSMIL.  We wanted to share with you and your Team in HQ, the attached appeal of our  former National Colleague and Brother  Wajdi, fired in 48 hours for claimed lack of performance. Many years in UNSMIL and no negative performance till he became a target and subject of retaliations being an active NSU Staff member.  Every time a NS tries to improve the working and living situation at UNSMIL is immediately out of job. Especially if he is serving in the National Staff Union.

Previously our National Colleague Ramadan in NSU  was also fired because we wanted to reestablish our rights. It is not a coincidence. False accusations were built against him  with the support of International Staff from Lebanon and Egypt and got  dismissed. They are not friends of our Country and they are not friendly with us.

Despite this, their brotherhood is renowned in UNSMIL and continuously growing.  For corrupted, rotten International Staff nothing is done. As per the below mail from Wajdi, former CMS, Ms. Huda Hannina D1  is still on special leave with full pay despite a positive OIOS investigation  for fraud and abuse of authority, plus two fact findings positives for abuse of power and authority on us

That's today's UN under Guterres: pure hypocrisy...We will have more on this - the UN bans the Press and refuses to answer questions
