June 15 – How corrupt and
decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.
From OHCHR

corruption in UN under Antonio
Guterres and his cronies like
Volker Turk
Unfortunately,
in Geneva morale is very low. Tony’s crony,
megalomaniac Volker Turk believes his own
lies. Crony Volkie Turk launches his “Global
Alliance” praised by member states that know
how to manipulate him, to avoid criticism
(like Mexico, smart). Toxic Volker Turk
lives in a parallel universe with no funding
for OHCHR as member states do not trust him.
Volker Turk lost Palais Wilson after 30
years and because of his mismanagement.
Worse he has fired 25% of the staff. Where
is OIOS in this? Nowhere. OIOS, we know is
an instrument to repress whistleblowers,
thanks you corrupt Kim Taylor. OIOS is
Tony’s Sturmtruppers but UN senior
management are the informants. It is
like Titanic orchestra playing the melody of
OHCHR‘s crónic of a forest old death. Volker
Turk is weak and corrupt but his ego reaches
the Mont Blanc peak before him. Turk is sure
he will stay another term, some member
states are so happy with an irrelevant HC.
In the meantime he wastes the funds he does
not have and OHCHR staffers lose their jobs.
In OHCHR either you are unemployed already
or you are in the next list to have your
contract not renewed. But his cronies get
promotions (thanks to those countries who
turn their blind eye to corruption,
mismanagement and nepotism. We all cry the
loss of Palais Wilson and blame Volker Turk
for losing it. Volkie symbolizes a cast of
UN privileged civil servants (and his Turk’s
cronies) who hardly spend any time in the
field but they claim they know. So detached
from reality. hey AmBWaltz, imagine if
Volker Turk was outing his money in Africa,
Middle East, Asia, Latin America or Eastern
EuroPe, that’s todays OHChR under. How many
field offices could be kept with that money
in Sudan, Cambodia, Colombia, Haiti or
Congo? Volkie, “field matters”. Stop
fueling the staff and member states. Put
your ego aside and do it for us. Please sno
not stay on OHCHR. We are sure fat Tony can
give you some other post where you can show
your endless talents.

Fat chance.
So far,
nothing from Mike Waltz, seen
skydiving in France then on a
lone Sunday show on ABC -
self-booked? Meanwhile both
Big Tony and Amina junketed on
April 15 to the IMF which
Inner City Press is accredited
to cover, and at which it
asked questions - but not of
Tony, as UNCTAD denied Inner
City Press to its "side
event." The UN is dying, or
being killed off.
There's a new

this. So far, nothing. Watch

on June 19, 2025 - no answer

for six months, then a denial
with no reason at all given.
Today's UN is corrupt.
