June 22 – How corrupt and
decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.

Many thanks for exposing corruption in
today's UN under Fat Tony Guterres and his
cronies. Ultimate apparatchik and crony,
narcissist Volker Turk has no sense of
ridicule and no respect for his staff. His
latest campaign “We are all terrestrials,
equal under the stars” is a bad taste joke as
we know Volker Turk favors and promotes his
personal friends even when they are not
qualified and are known for being lazy. Volker
Turk new initiative to cling to the
post, “the Global Alliance for Human Rights”
is just a reheated version of his infamous
“UDHR75”.
Millions will be wasted again at the expense
of real human rights work, more colleagues
(again mainly young women will be fired),
careers and homes will be destroyed and field
offices closed. But Volkie’s cronies will
remain sucking fat salaries. Mike Waltz, did
you know that OHCHR has not abolished a single
senior post since the UN crisis was declared
two years ago? Only junior staff gets fired.
Cronies remain. How can member states allow
this waste of funds? How much has Volkie’s
T-Shirt cost to taxpayers? What happened to
his Meditation Room? Or to his renovations to
Palais Wilson that he, shamefully, had to give
up after four years of financial
mismanagement? Staff is tired of his
double standards and hypocrisy. We all
know how appointments are made in OHCHR and
all senior ones can be traced to a personal
connection (including appointments made by the
Human Rights Council
Amb Waltz, the
ball is on your court."
Fat chance.
So far,
nothing from Mike Waltz,
previously seen skydiving in
France then on a lone Sunday
show on CBS, unannounced -
self-booked? Meanwhile both
Big Tony and Amina junketed on
April 15 to the IMF which
Inner City Press is accredited
to cover, and at which it
asked questions - but not of
Tony, as UNCTAD denied Inner
City Press to its "side
event." The UN is dying, or
being killed off.
There's a new

a questionnaire about about
this. So far, nothing. Watch
this site.

re-applied to re-enter the UN
on June 19, 2025 - no answer
at all from Melissa Fleming,
Tel Mekel, Stephane Dujarric
for six months, then a denial
with no reason at all given.
Today's UN is corrupt.
