decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.

Thanks for exposing corruption in
Guterres UN and being one of the few that
allow staff to speak up without fear of
reprisals. A toxic environment there is a
OHCHR and already Volker Turk’s cronies are
celebrating four more years of nepotism and
cronyism with full impunity. Member states do
not care about UN staff nor about tax payers
monies being wasted. Volker Turk is
ideologically biased and so is most of his
senior staff like Peggy Hicks, Beatrix Balbin,
Julietta de Ribero, Scott Campbell, Michael
Camilleri, Kim Taylor or Maarit Kohonen
(although not so much as to risk their fat D
salaries).
Will Awa Dabo try to change the management
culture and cut D2, D1 or P5s posts? Or will
she continue firing junior staff? The ball is
on her court. She needs to show she is more
than a crony. Meanwhile, Volkie undertakes a
new trip with his propaganda entourage. [We'll

previously seen skydiving in
France then on a lone Sunday
show on CBS, unannounced -
self-booked? Now he has
blithely signed the UN
Charter. Meanwhile both Big
Tony and Amina junketed on
April 15 to the IMF which
Inner City Press is accredited
to cover, and at which it
asked questions - but not of
Tony, as UNCTAD denied Inner
City Press to its "side
event." The UN is dying, or
being killed off.
There's a new

this. So far, nothing. Watch

on June 19, 2025 - no answer
at all from Melissa Fleming,
Tel Mekel, Stephane Dujarric
for six months, then a denial
with no reason at all given.
Today's UN is corrupt.
