decrepit has the UN system
become under Antonio Guterres,
in this case due to Guterres?
Today's example is again from
the Office of the High
Commission for Human Rights,
to which Guterres appointed
his unqualified crony Volker
Turk more than two years ago.

Turk was given a fraudulent 4 years
reappointment by his master Guterres not based
on performance but on cronyism. No open
consultation, no discussion, unprecedented
full mandate extension, all with complacency
of chief legal counsel Elinor Hammarskjold,
shame on her, and president of UNGA Annalena
Baerbock, German and keen to support a fellow
Austria. Team days after his highly
questionable appointment Volker Turk resumes
his useless and selective tours accompanied by
his media entourage (propaganda ministry) and
Mohamed Al Ansour, former Jordanian diplomat
over promoted by Maarit Kohonen in return for
a post for her husband. Another useless
mission with headlines such as “Volker Turk
visits Jordan and encourages strengthening
independence”, “Living Jordan with excellent
meetings with the government”…..only 2 weeks
ago Jordan resumed death penalty and 6 persons
were hanged but that is not in the headlines,
vaguely mentioned in his final press release.
Also vague mentions to the repression
mentioned by civil society. This was another
cozy trip with cronies and this will be the
next four years, appeasement and avoid
sensitive topics, as he has done with the
Uighur in China or the political repression in
Cuba. Silence in return for money. What is the
outcome of his trip to Jordan? Nothing as
usual? Any agreement to change repressive
legislation? Political reforms? Prisoners
released? Fat chance! Nice photos and a
prize. Volker Turk is the master of
double standards. Brave when there is no risk
and coward when there is. Busy with irrelevant
topics to avoid important ones. Narcissist
ultimate apparatchik and soulless bureaucrat.
Member states have already voted for an
irrelevant High Commissioner and a kleptocracy
of cronies. First term with any tangible
result. Second term not promising. He is off
the hook. Will Rebecca Gryspan or a new SG
will dare to remove him? That’s a real test
for the SG candidate’s test to change the UN.

So far,
nothing from Mike Waltz,
previously seen skydiving in
France then on a lone Sunday
show on CBS, unannounced -
self-booked? Now he is not
answering on State's alleged
leaks to Iran, nor on not
defending US press at the
UN.Meanwhile both Big Tony and
Amina junketed on April 15 to
the IMF which Inner City Press
is accredited to cover, and at
which it asked questions - but
not of Tony, as UNCTAD denied
Inner City Press to its "side
event." The UN is dying, or
being killed off.
There's a new

a questionnaire about about
this. So far, nothing. Watch

on June 19, 2025 - no answer
at all from Melissa Fleming,
Tel Mekel, Stephane Dujarric
for six months, then a denial
with no reason at all given.
Today's UN is corrupt.
