UN GATE Exclusive, Nov 5 –  The UN is involved in a sexual harassment and sex trafficking scandal in the Democratic Republic of Congo, of which Inner City Press was exclusively informed and published after no answers in 2022 while the organization under Secretary General Antonio Guterres is still trying to cover up.

  Now Guterres' cover-up agency OIOS, the Office of Internal Oversight Services, is trying hamhandedly to get Inner City Press to ID a person OIOS presents as the whistleblower. But Inner City Press never published the whistleblower's names, and does not publish or confirm whistleblower's names.

Guterres has turned to the UN and OIOS into a global joke. Here, while Spokespeople Stephane Dujarric and Melissa Fleming refuse all Press questions, is what OIOS sent Inner City Press:

   Dear Matthew,  I am Ghislaine Ines Ofweley-Bate,  investigator with the Investigations Division of the United Nations Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS) and I have been assigned to conduct an authorized investigation into a report of possible misconduct: an allegation of unsatisfactory conduct implicating Mr. Amadu Fuseini Kurata Timbilla, Chief Service Delivery, United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO), based in Goma, DRC.  Specifically, on 2 July 2025, you received from Mr. Mutombo Faustin,  a report that Mr. Timbilla would allegedly blackmail senior mission officials, including Ms. Bintou Keita, MONUSCO SRSG and the DMS, while engaging in inappropriate behavior such as exploiting women in the region.  OIOS would like to interview Mr. Faustin as complainant and would appreciate if you could provide any of his contact details which could facilitate the contact with him.     Again, Inner City Press never published the name of the person Guterres' OIOS now says emailed Inner City Press. Guterres' UN is happy to rough up and ban journalists, now this.

From its exclusive publication in August 2022, Inner City Press has daily asked the UN, from Guterres, through Melissa Fleming to spokesman Stephane Dujarric about this scandal, including providing names involved. No answer; cover up - and no response to Inner City Press' 2022 application to enter and report on UNGA week [and now answer to requests in 2023, 2024 and 2025]

A whistleblower's addendum: "And Felix Nartey, the Chief Procurement Officer a close Ghanaian friend was hired under dubious circumstances despite protests from the former Chief of HR Ms. Audrey Serret and protests from Ms. Cristina Gavazzo. Mr, Eric Servor was given the test for him to be included on the Directors Roster?"

And this: "I am also a follower of your article. Those who were given exams by Amadu Timbilla to be rostered include Eric Servor, a Ghanaian national. Thomas ZIem the UNV who is also used by Amadu Timbilla as his cook, used to be Amadu’s cook when he was in the Ghanaian army.   On another related note, Marias Gatta of the MONUSCO Warehouse in Uganda is a close associate of Amadu Timbilla also shared Susan Kamali as a mistress. Marias Gatta also had a relationship with Ms. Immaculate and is now a National UNV. Marias Gatta is a menace to the ladies working in the warehouse. But they don’t speak up out of fear.   In a bid to cover up Amadu Timbilla started hiring local Congolese staff in his office and used the gender disparity clause to cover up, very carefully orchestrated hiring practices. The excuses used are so well covered up.   Amadu also hired an Incompetent fellow Ghanaian Abdul Abubakar as Contracts Management Assistant.   We need answers." We do.

This exclusive reporting: "the current UNV Program Manager Mr Davy Muondongo who was previously under scrutiny in MINUSCA had been investigated for an altered PHP, is also part of the problem, he recruited his mistress Ms Irena as UNV Finance Assistant, she is incompetent. The Chief of Supply Chain uses him to cover up his dalliances and have recently started hiring women of other nationalities to cover up.   We Congolese are not happy with situation. They say we are not qualified yet they hire their mistresses."

From September 8, this additional exclusive reporting, not answered: a UN Volunteer Alia Basma a mistress of Amadu was promoted by Amadu Timbilla she had an intense relationship with The Chief of Integrated Warehouse Mr Joseph Ngidari she went to UNON in Nairobi.   Meanwhile there is the question of the whereabouts of a “missing UNV” who reported Tommy Bannister for harassment. The Chief of Supply Chain sent Tommy Bannister to “seduce” her, Tommy was also interested in a relationship and that did not turn out well, she reported and was literally sent out of Amadu’s office.   There is also the mystery of Ms. Susan Kamali, and Victoria Anderson and the Ethiopian Housekeeper and Ms Agnes, the alleged mistresses of Amadu Timbilla - more to follow. And from the UN, no answers. Cover up.

Previously, an Inner City Press update on September 6: "Tommy Bannister has been awarded a position in Kinshasa even after we believe the Chief of Supply bribed some witnesses, he is part of the scandal. The Chief of Supply Chain is Amadu Timbilla. He is currently applying for a position as Chief in MINUSCA as they are so ashamed... Concerned Congolese Staff who are tired of watching disturbing behavior by international staff This must stop we are going to report this at the highest authorities MONUSCO MUST GO Congo is our country, they steal and exploit us. 

  The current scandal-plagued United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the DR Congo is the successor to MONUC, whose chief Alan Doss was exposed by Inner City Press (before Guterres banned it from the UN, with his Melissa Fleming ignore the appeal) as hiring his personal chef as an engineer.

This practice has continued, with another cook (not Bannister) hired.  This cook is one Thomas Ziem...

 Inner City Press has the names of those involved; it is informed that Guterres' Assistant Secretary General for Human Resources Martha Helena Lopez is well informed but has yet to act - that was in 2022, and still nothing in 2025. Guterres' UN is corrupt and in decay.
