Sahara, Inner
City Press has
repeatedly
asked UN
Secretary General
Antonio
Guterres, his
spokesman
Stephane
Dujarric and
Communications
chief Melissa
Fleming
about sexual
harassment
charges
against his representatives,
which it has
exclusively
reported as
credited here
and even here.
On
August 27,
2021 Guterres
after
massive delay
gave the
MINURSO post
to Alexander
Ivanko of the
Russian
Federation, who
previously
served as
Director of
Public
Information
for the United
Nations
Mission in
Kosovo - where
when, before
Guterres
ousted it,
Inner City
Press asked Ivanko
five
questions,
four of which he
essentially
no-commented
on, here.
Inner City
Press was
contacted by
UN
whistleblowers
outraged at what they
said was
already
a pro-Morocco scandal
at MINURO under -
literally -
Ivanko. They told
Inner City
Press that
Ivanko has
struck up a
predatory relationship
with a Moroccan
woman who was
recruited into
MINURSO by
now-rewarded predator Colin
Stewart.
Inner
City Press put
this question- to
all UN spokespeople.
Nothing.
So now
on June 18,
2024 the series
resumes, with
more to come:

getting the
SRSG job,
Ivanko was the
MINURSO Chief
of Staff in
Western Sahara
since 2009. He
immediately
made clear his
support for
Morocco’s
claim to the
non
self-governing
Territory, and
immediately
started
benefitting
from
invitations to
5-star hotels
in Rabat, the
finest
restaurants
and goodness
knows what
else.
Then in
late 2020,
Ivanko starts
seeing a
Moroccan sex
worker living
in Laayoune.
He even
manages to
convince his
then-boss,
Colin Stewart
(the Canadian
SRSG in
Western Sahara
at the time,
who previously
was
investigated
by OIOS for a
sex scandal in
Addis Abeba)
to employ the
Moroccan sex
worker in his
office early
2021.
And he
finances the
purchase of an
apartment for
her family in
Western Sahara
(i.e.
financing
Morocco’s
colonization
of an occupied
Territory in
complete
violation of
the
international
law he’s
employed to
uphold...
